摘要: Summary. The rheological properties of the stratum corneum pilot whale (Globicephala melas) were investigated with emphasis on their significance to self-cleaning abilities skin surface smoothed by a jelly material enriched various hydrolytic enzymes. gel formation collected fluid was monitored applying periodic-harmonic oscillating loads using stress-controlled rheometer. In mechanical spectrum gel, plateau region storage modulus GŽ ( 120 Pa) independent frequency (omega=43.98 0.13 rad·s-1, tau=15 Pa, T=20 °C), indicating high elastic performance covalently cross-linked viscoelastic solid. addition, multi-angle laser light scattering experiments (MALLS) performed analyse potential time-dependent changes in weight-average molar mass samples. observed increase showed that is based assembly aggregates. and shear resistence assure enzyme-containing smoothing not removed from regimes during dolphin jumping. even considered be most important for against biofouling.
