摘要: For smooth curved surfaces the dominant image feature is apparent contour, or outline. This projection of contour generator, locus points on surface which separate visible and occluded parts. The generator dependent local geometry viewpoint. Each viewpoint will generate a different generator. paper addresses problem recovering three–dimensional shape motion curves from sequences contours. For known viewer can then be reconstructed by exploiting spatio–temporal parametrization contours generators under motion. A natural exploits epipolar between successive viewpoints. leads to simplified expressions for recovery depth curvatures velocities accelerations motion. The is, however, degenerate when singular since ray tangent at frontier plane surface. At these isolated no longer used recover geometry. reviews shows how cases unknown surfaces. Practical implementations are outlined.
