摘要: Vernier and spatial interval thresholds were determined as a function of contrast, using thin bars with Gaussian luminance profile. The previously reported contrast dependence vernier acuity was confirmed, but had much smaller effect upon acuity. A subsidiary experiment showed that the relative two in an discrimination could be randomly perturbed over trials without substantially reducing model is developed, including opponent stage between hypothetical coincidence detectors.
