Corporate Social Responsibility and Mobile Telecommunication Competitiveness in Nigeria: The Case of MTN Nigeria

摘要: In Nigeria, the aftermath of Niger Delta crises had spark off research interest on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental sustainability. However, how telecommunication firms in Nigeria perceive practice CSR link with competitive advantage is rarely investigated. This study examines extent relationship between mobile advantage. The survey design was adopted, making use random sampling to select 200 participants from staff MTN. Structured questionnaire employed collect relevant primary data analysis carried out through regression Chi-square technique. Results showed that except welfare, significant existed awareness, community wellbeing To further enhance competitiveness, firm’s its workforce should be improved upon by introducing flexible working hours, facilitating work/life balance, ensuring prompt promotion, considering internal advancement as a strategic option.
