摘要: Metamaterials are artificially engineered periodic structures with exceptional optical properties that not found in conventional materials. However, this definition of metamaterials can be extended if we introduce a quantum degree freedom by adding some elements (e.g dots, cold atoms, Josephson junctions, molecules). Quantum then defined as nanostructures made up elements. Furthermore, they exhibit controllable states, maintain coherence for times much higher than the transversal time electromagnetic signal. have been used to realised invisibility cloaking, super-resolution, energy harvesting, and sensing. Most these applications performed classical regime. Of recent, gradually their way into regime, particularly sensing information processing. The use processing is still new rapidly growing. In processing, enabled control manipulation single photon generation, creating entanglement, states switching, search algorithm, state engineering tasks, many more. work, briefly review theory, fabrication
