摘要: Background and Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects increased oxygen availability on gene expression collagen deposition/maturation in periodontium following disease. Material Methods Male Wistar rats had ligatures placed around their molars induce periodontal disease, a subset animals underwent hyperbaric (HBO) treatment for 2 h twice per day. At 15 28 d, tissue COL1A1, transforming growth factor-β1 alkaline phosphatase determined; other histological samples were stained with Picrosirius red levels deposition, maturation thickness. Results In that HBO treatment, type I higher thickness more robust. Reduced mRNA factor-beta1 HBO-treated day suggested quicker resolution both soft bone remodeling occurred treatment. No differences inflammation observed between groups. Conclusions The extracellular matrix regenerated quickly group as evidenced by expression, deposition maturation.
