摘要: Abstract Laser-excited molecular fluorescence measurements of CH and CN were made in atmospheric-pressure, acetylene flames. The intensity dependence on laser was observed to depart from linearity as spectral intensities increased, indicating near saturation. This occurred at 10 5 –10 6 W/cm 2 cm −1 for both CN. These are the first observations saturated these important flame radicals. Radical species concentrations determined data. Absorption test validity results. indicated a concentration about 60 ppm an oxyacetylene approximately 150 nitrous oxide flame. measured by absorption larger factor than values fluorescence. Possible reasons discrepancies discussed.
