摘要: As an alternative to conventional photon-based radiotherapy, radiation with protons is recognised offer considerable advantages. Today, central nervous system tumours, various sarcomatous childhood cancer and head neck tumours are commonly treated proton therapy. This review evaluates current data from clinical dosimetric trials on the treatment of selected like rhabdomyosarcoma, osteosarcoma, chordoma, chondrosarcoma Ewing sarcoma. Special considerations for paediatric future prospects therapy outlined. Proton already internal part in multidisciplinary management sarcomas contiguity sensitive structures, especially at base skull, spine pelvis. It offers special advantages requiring high-precision particularly when total resection seems not feasible. Previous ongoing research generating evidence benefit sarcoma patients. Up now, has been safely applied encouraging results. For research, prospective, multi-institutional, large registries required answer open questions. Modern radiotherapy techniques, such as pencil beam scanning intensity modulation increasingly established More needed understand protons' limitations potential.
