摘要: The structure of latent tracks in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was studied using chemical etching combined with a conductometric technique. Polymer samples were irradiated Ar, Kr, Xe, Au, and U ions energies the range 1 to 11.6 MeV/u. kinetics investigated radii 0–100 nm. highly damaged track core manifests itself on curves as zone where etch rate changes dramatically reaches its minimum at radius few It found that is approximately proportional (dE/dx)0.55. surrounded by halo. In halo proceeds slowly increases approaching constant value. Cross linking macromolecules causes reduction which extends up distances exceeding 100 nm case heaviest ions. Measurable change such large could not be predicted from shape calculated spatial distributions energy dissipated tracks. Obviously, formation extended influenced diffusion active intermediates polymer bulk.
