摘要: Abstract In the context of analysis Millennium Goals and Human Development in Bolivia a synthetic measure household infrastructure was developed. The constructed applying factor to large number census indicators concerning shelter, living space, water supply, energy sanitation. This technique allows score be applied each (and indirectly person), may serve also characterise small areas, groups or populations, such as municipalities, communities neighbourhoods. (HIM) is composite average scores derived by Principal Component Analysis from observed variables, most which are dummies related categorical questions. No factors excluded, on ground that all variance variables relevant standard living, even if not closely variation other variables. HIM computed for Bolivia, based 2001 Population Census, results shown major geographical areas socioeconomic groups. Separate papers will devoted validation analyse its behaviour over time.
