摘要: Retest stability of the Communication Profile for Hearing Impaired (CPHI) was assessed in a sample 101 active-duty military personnel who attended Aural Rehabilitation Program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Pretests were administered by referring audiologists; retests from 6 to 40 weeks later, beginning rehabilitation program. Mean scores on 5 25 scales CPHI decreased significantly (p less than 0.01) over time, but changes small magnitude (approximately -0.20). Distributions retest-test differences used establish criteria inferring significant improvement time. correlations communication environment, strategies, and personal adjustment areas ranged 0.58 0.78. performance importance stable (r = 0.28 0.54). comparable short versus long retest intervals, varied as function rank. Implications results clinical use are discussed.
