摘要: Abstract. Few studies have investigated nocturnal new particle formation (NPF) events, and none of them were conducted in urban environments. Nocturnal NPF can potentially be a significant source particles areas, studying would improve our understanding nucleation mechanisms. To address this, study was an environment to investigate the physical characteristics with particular focus on events differences between daytime events. Particle number size distribution (PNSD) measured for 2 weeks at each 25 sites across environment. A method proposed automatically categorise based growth rate (GR) order remove bias related manual procedure. Back trajectory analysis also estimate locations sources precursors. While precursors originated from different no pattern, back-trajectory showed many air masses associated transported over ocean. Overall, found studied and/or
