摘要: Summary The effects of planting date and growing period potato cultivars on their efficiency as trap crops for cyst nematodes (PCN) were studied. Plots planted with susceptible or resistant in April, June August these grown 5, 6 7 wk before removal the plants by hand lifting. Crops provided best overall reductions PCN population density up to 95%, cv. Sante significantly more effective than other cultivars. Population from only slightly less but tuber yields obtained much greater: Maris Piper Bard produced 16.4 21.4 t ha-1 respectively, 37% 43% a size useful canning (i.e. between 20 40 mm diameter).
