摘要: We propose a laser cooling concept for the translational motion of molecules which does not require repeated spontaneous emission by each molecule. The works repetition three main steps: velocity selection narrow momentum width, deceleration selected and accumulation decelerated an irreversible process, namely single emission. develop model enables analytical description transient populations entropies total molecular system, center mass degree freedom internal degrees freedom. Simulation shows that process can reduce large width to final in principle be arbitrarily small. Center entropy is reduced while increased after cooling. show occur during coherent interactions. change consistency with Araki-Lieb inequality.
