摘要: To explore the central disturbances resulting from blood pressure changes, spontaneously hypertensive mice (SHM) were compared to normotensive controls for cytochrome oxidase (CO) activity, an index of oxidative capacity in nervous system and a marker long-term regional brain metabolism neuronal activity. In all areas presenting significant enzymatic variations, only increases CO activity found SHM, particularly autonomic network. However, specific regions affected, namely insular cortex hypothalamic nuclei principally involved high-order control. Altered limbic structures included lateral septum, various hippocampal subregions, as well prelimbic cortex. was also elevated several forebrain regions, including those directly connected system, such nucleus accumbens, claustrum, dorsomedial reticular thalamic nuclei, subthalamic ventrolateral nuclei. brainstem, affected locus coeruleus, site noradrenergic cell bodies, trigeminal four interconnected regions: inferior colliculus, paramedial formation, medial vestibular, cerebellar fastigial These data show that modulating sympathetic nerve discharge are activated young adult possibly due mitochondrial dysfunction excitotoxicity.
