摘要: Abstract The objective of this work was to study the effect ground clay brick on mitigating Alkali Silica Reaction (ASR) in mortar bars prepared with highly reactive aggregates. To evaluate potential crushed mitigate ASR distress mortar, and cubes were cast combination different dosages (partial replacement portland cement). pozzolanic reactivity also evaluated using strength activity index test. In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) conducted microstructure location gel its chemical composition. results from indicated satisfactory level when cement partially by brick. Also, it found that replacing 25% (by weight) could significantly decrease expansion 67% at age 14 days. However, suggested compressive values specimens containing higher (i.e. 50% level) lower than control specimens.
