摘要: Interaction with the environment is a key factor affecting development of plants and plant ecosystems. In this paper we introduce modeling framework that makes it possible to simulate visualize wide range interactions at level architecture. This extends formalism Lindenmayer systems constructs needed model bi−directional information exchange between their environment. We illustrate proposed models simulations capture tree branches limited by collisions, colonizing growth clonal competing for space in favorable areas, interaction roots water soil, competition within trees access light. Computer animation visualization techniques make better understand modeled processes lead realistic images environmental context.
