摘要: The leaf of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. (family Nymphaeaceae) has been used for summer heat syndrome as home remedy in Japan and China, it recently to treat obesity China. So we investigate the pharmacological mechanism anti-obesity effect leaves extract (NNE). We examined NNE on digestive enzyme activity, lipid metabolism theromogenesis evaluated effects using high-fat diet-induced mice that were treated with 5 weeks. caused a concentration-dependent inhibition activities α-amylase lipase, up-regulated expression UCP3 mRNA C2C12 myotubes. prevented increase body weight, parametrial adipose tissue weight liver triacylglycerol levels induced by diet. skeletal muscle tended be higher, when administrated exercised. Therefore, impaired digestion, inhibited absorption lipids carbohydrates, accelerated energy expenditure. Consequently, is beneficial suppression obesity.
