摘要: Abstract This review deals with carbon sorbents and their utilisation to trace analysis of organic pollutants in environmental samples. The first sections are devoted the general characteristics various kinds sorbents, formation, structure carbon, classification characterisation (activated charcoal, graphitized black, molecular sieves porous carbon). Information is given on development carbonaceous adsorbents, properties, preconcentration techniques, off-line or on-line combination analytical measuring system (GC HPLC), application enrichment analytes evaluated. main use materials as a preconcentration/preseparation step has been sampling trapping volatile compounds (VOCs) from air water matrices. An other field semi-volatile non-volatile and/or separation into subclasses. According sampled components, have utilised single-bed multi-bed arrangement (combination combinations non-carbonaceous materials) achieve quantitative components samples, followed by desorption for subsequent identification quantitation. Various achievements problems, particularly multicomponent-mixture analysis, discussed. physico-chemical properties recently developed adsorbents superior compared those “traditional” sorbent materials. Over recent years much attention paid on-site automated monitoring pollutants.
