摘要: Abstract The hydrodynamic interactions due to wave scattering between the numbers of an array stationary, truncated circular cylinders simulating columns idealized tension-leg platform (TLP) are investigated. method solution for fluid velocity potential involves replacing scattered waves by equivalent plane together with non-planar correction terms. This technique is, therefore, essentially a large spacing approximation. Use this approach makes it possible determine members utilizing only diffraction characteristics isolated cylinder. Numerical results presented six configurations consisting 2–6 representing legs TLPs. Calculations loads on these have been performed range and structural parameters. It is found that, certain parameter combinations, influence neighbouring bodies total field leads loading individual which significantly greater than they would experience in isolation. demonstrate significance TLP clearly indicate that effects should be considered designers researchers associated
