摘要: Aims: To assess the pathophysiology and subjective symptoms in female patients with impaired bladder emptying. Methods: Eighty-three consecutive attending a urology clinic postvoid residual urine of more than 100 mL were recruited. Free uroflowmetry, measurement pressure-flow study performed all patients. The detailed assessment their bothersomeness to assessed using self-administered questionnaire comprising 12 items: five associated voiding symptoms, storage two discomfort pain on voiding. was applied 83 emptying, 41 urinary incontinence, 21 normal controls. Results: Although 77% emptying consulted because remaining 23% complained or other lower tract (LUTS). revealed as detrusor contraction 68 (81.9%), outlet obstruction (14.8%). that incontinence showed high frequency only symptoms; however, those not but also symptoms. Conclusions: Female present wide range both symptoms. determine an appropriate treatment modality, correct diagnosis underlying by is primary importance.
