摘要: We report long period grating (LPG) devices based on a hybrid architecture incorporating photopatternable fluorinated poly(aryl ether ketone) and silica layers for applications in wavelength filtering power distribution. The structure was implemented using periodic corrugation thermally oxidized lower cladding layer, photopatterned polymer ridge waveguide, similar top cladding. In this design, the corrugated layer allows highly stable structure, while offers low propagation loss easy processability. Strong rejection bands have been demonstrated C+L band, good agreement with theoretical calculations. fabricated LPG show thermal dependence of 1.5 nm/ degrees C. Based an array waveguides LPGs has also fabricated. Distribution light at resonance across all channels from single input demonstrated. These results are promising distribution photonic network or on-chip sensors.
