摘要: Abstract Spearmint oil (SMO), a commonly used essential for oral care products, possesses various interesting functions, especially anticancer property. However, the application of SMO cancer treatment is limited due to water insoluble. In present study, nanoemulsions, which have been widely accepted as dosage forms poorly water-soluble drugs, were selected candidate carriers inhibit cell. The nanoemulsions fabricated using phase inversion temperature method. factors affecting formation and properties including type amount surfactants, loading ratio virgin coconut (VCO) investigated. Among surfactants used, containing polyoxyethylene castor derivatives (Kolliphor®EL; PCO35, Cremophor®RH40; PCO40, Eumulgin®CO60; PCO60) sorbitan fatty acid esters (PSF80) showed 100% creaming after cycling test indicating excellent physical stability while those PCO40 demonstrated more transparency better stability. With an increasing droplet size tended decrease was in nano-size range (
