摘要: The alginate extraction products from Brazilian brown seaweed Sargassum filipendula were studied for chromium biosorption. Batch experiments conducted at pH 2 and 3 20°C to determine the sorption capacity of this biosorbents (VI) (III). biomass was characterized before after metal binding by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) in order mechanisms residue has a high adsorption capacity, close value obtained with higher than that both Cr(III) Cr(VI). XPS analysis revealed carboxyl, amino sulfonate groups are responsible ions. also indicated Cr(VI) bound reduced Cr(III).
