摘要: Abstract The current status of theory and observations incoherent scatter from the ionosphere are discussed. Some examples more important scientific advances which have resulted measurements given. Comparisons data with obtained by other techniques shows good agreement in some, but not all cases. Where serious discrepancies arise, evidence suggests that probably nearly correct. potential for increasing our understanding ionospheric physics is only beginning to be utilized. speculations as future research ultimate practical capabilities
