摘要: Growing ecological problems have raised the need for conceptual tools dedicated to studying semiotic processes in cultural-ecological systems. Departing from both ecosemiotics and cultural semiotics, concept of an ecosemiosphere is proposed denote entire complex semiosis ecosystem, including involvement human semiosis. More specifically, a system comprising all species their umwelts, alongside diverse relations (including humans with culture) that they given also material supporting structures enable thrive. Drawing parallels Juri Lotman’s semiosphere concept, characterized by its heterogeneity, asymmetry, boundedness. But unlike not overall boundedness, is, presence external binary boundaries shared identity arising this unity. The culture manifests interspecies dialogues engagements. We scrutinize what affordances resources could offer nonhuman how could, means, raise integrity, stability, resiliency ecosystem. grounded semiosphere.
