摘要: The four species of the suborder Holaxonia, Anthogorgia japonica Studer, 1889 family Acanthogorgiidae, Astrogorgia rubra (Thomson & Henderson, 1906), Euplexaura attenuata (Nutting, 1910), and E. erecta (Kukenthal, 1908) Plexauridae have been newly recorded in Korea. They were collected from intertidal sublittoral zones western southern coasts Jeju-do Island Korea by SCUBA diving fishing nets 1969 to 2010. This study approaches holaxonians focusing on external internal morphologies including size, form, color colonies, branches, polyps, coenenchyme, axis, spicules. is characterized its planar growth dichotomously branched non-retractile arrangement calyxes being situated lateral side at stems alternately all sides branches. sparsely laterally colony, has straight wand-like stems. branches which run parallel main stem.
