摘要: This chapter presents a review of atmospheric mercury measurements (as total and as speciated mercury) conducted at terrestrial sites during the last decade. A large number activities have been carried out in different regions world aiming to assess level ambient air precipitation, its variation over time with changing meteorological conditions. Recent studies highlighted that fast developing countries (i.e., China, India) emissions are increasing dramatic fashion due primarily sharp increase energy production from combustion coal (Chapter-2 by Street et al.; Chapter-3 Feng al. this report). The China decade not currently reflected long-term measurement gaseous Mace Head, Ireland between 1996 2006, nor precipitation data North American Mercury Deposition Network (MDN). There documented recent increases oxidation potential atmosphere which might account, least part, for discrepancy observed concentrations (steady or decreasing) global emission inventories (increasing). provides detailed overview performed industrial, remote rural reference monitoring techniques location most continents.
