摘要: We aimed to determine the value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte (NLR) ratio for prediction recurrence in patients subjected endoscopic sinus surgery. Higher neutrophil counts mean more chronic inflammation so NLR could show inflammatory level resulting with higher incidence recurrence. From January 2011 March 2013, we performed a retrospective review complete blood count samples from 192 sinusitis who underwent The were divided into two groups based on presence nasal polyps. and platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) ratios analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was cut-off significant differences variables between non-recurrence groups. ROC results revealed an 3.13 PLR 208.75. Our that is independent risk factor surgery (p = 0.006), whereas not predictive (p = 0.167). study be used predict disease before However, additional studies are needed confirm these results.
