摘要: Malaria and filariases are prevalent in Sudan their control depends largely on preventive measures against mosquito vectors. The present work aimed to investigate the larvicidal, adults emergence inhibition oviposition deterrent effects of aqueous extracts from leaves Ricinus communis L. mosquitoes, Anopheles arabiensis Culex quinquefasciatus as a biological means. larval mortality was observed after 24 hours. LC50 values calculated were 403.65, 445.66 498.88 ppm 2nd, 3rd 4th instar larvae An. 1091.44, 1364.58 1445.44 instars Cx. quinquefasciatus. 50% adult (EI50) 374.97 1180.32 extract showed effect both species. Results reveal that crude R. possesses remarkable properties tested species can be used
