摘要: This study aimed to: (1) determine whether soil microbial communities along a gradient from intensive (fertilized) to low-input (unfertilized) grassland management, shift in their composition as shown by an increase the abundance of fungi relative bacteria and (2) these shifts vary depending on season. At all sample dates biomass-C -N, total phospholipid fatty acids (PLFA) were highest unfertilized, undrained treatments lowest fertilized drained grassland. Similarly, activity, measured CO2-C respiration, was found be at its most intensively managed Measures biomass showed high degree seasonality, having summer maxima winter minima. In contrast, PLFA measures had spring autumn Seasonal management differences also observed within community. profiles revealed that individual unfertilized treatments, The fungal-to-bacterial ratio soils, suggesting higher former more due growth than bacteria. As with PLFA, maximum minimum. patterns related mineral-N moisture contents. Factors controlling community structure between sites are discussed relation other studies. A critical assessment different is given. Overall, findings this support thesis play significant role biological processes low-input, grasslands, systems.
