摘要: This paper reports on the outcomes of a three year action research project which involved developing new approach to delivering work-based national vocational qualifications (NVQ) (level 2 and 3) specialist trade operatives. It reviews approaches qualifying workforce argues that NVQs give greater efficiency in terms time cost than traditional college-based training. At end culture shift employer employee towards formal was observed within sample group. In addition, awarding Further Education College had moved from position solely centralised construction training one allowed flexibility its delivery style. Prior this an achievement rate 25% recorded. completion rates raised above Learning Skills Council’s benchmark requirement 75%.
