摘要: The relative importance of mountain front recharge as compared to total was determined for a portion the Tucson basin aquifer margin by interpretation chemical and isotopic data. Concentrations 180/160 lower than 6 -10.7 0 /0o with background about -9.3 /oo in ground water from base mountains gneissic rock suggest presence significantly higher elevations. trilinear diagram major ions dissolved 123 wells Santa Catalina foothills indicates three types. Water is high sodium potassium content low calcium magnesium. Wells gypsiferous Pantano Formation yield sulfates. majority study area, which are along streams regional aquifer, have carbonate type water. Their chemistry only minor contributions block underlying Formation. Funding this project came Spanish Project Register T377017.
