摘要: This chapter reviews abrasive processes, which are assisted by the electrolytic in-process dressing (ELID) technique. in situ method is used for metal-bond wheels and it relatively new. The success wide application of ELID principles to ceramic grinding explained chapter. Fourteen applications principle modern processes documented illustrate scope application. provides ability produce extremely fine finishes on brittle material surfaces, with surface roughness nanometer scale, more stable than conventional grinding, allowing high removal rates over a longer period. Cast-iron bond utilization result both larger stock rate lower force vitrified wheels. final enhanced burnishing action worn grits.
