Design of miniature tri-band filter with multiple types of resonators

摘要: A microstrip tri-band filter, which is designed by using two kinds of ring resonators and one lumped element resonators, presented in this paper. This filter constructed inductive coupled resonator for the lowest passband folded other passbands to minimize size flexibly control characteristics three pass bands. Design equations that can determine component values new structure are derived. methodology components with arbitrarily assigning transmission zeros bandwidths proposed. To verify proposed design concept, an experimental prototype bands at 2.4 GHz, 3.6 GHz 5.0GHz was fabricated on PCB substrate. The about 12×21 mm2 measured insertion losses less than 2.0 dB, 2.5 dB 3.0 dB. associated return all greater 18 over frequency interest.
