摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses different aspects of suspension shear flows. It follows a logical, evolutionary sequence activities that is illustrative the development field considerable complexity. The begins with theoretical study relatively simple laminar flow two-phase suspension. For this type flow, sufficient amount analytical formulation problem can be readily extended from established counterpart for conventional single-phase and all-important linkage dynamic interaction between phases provided by pre-existent understanding particle's behavior in viscous fluid. corresponding experimental efforts are presented to provide necessary comparisons theories. Of particular importance, use nonintrusive laser-Doppler anemometry optical technique has been developed A natural outgrowth significant new generation techniques, designed specifically complex turbulent which particles allowed have distribution size. In chapter, presentation made migratory analyzing dynamical-response characteristics eddies surrounding fluid prescribed turbulence structure.
