摘要: Okadaic acid (OA), a marine toxin is cytotoxic and promotes tumours in mouse skin. It specific potent inhibitor of protein synthesis also inhibits phosphatases A1 A2 vitro. In the present study, we investigated influence metals found at acceptable levels mussels as environmental pollutants on cytotoxicity OA Vero cells. Among (Mytilus edulis), most represented, terms molar quantities per gram dried weight are aluminium (230 nmol/g), copper (58 lead (16 mercury (14 nmol/g) cadmium (7.4 nmol/g). A solution containing these five Al(3+), Cu(2+), Pb(2+), Hg(2+) Cd(2+) combined concentrations detected mussels, stimulated (+25%, P < 0.01), whereas different dilutions this presence okadaic (15 ng/ml, i.e. 18.7 x 10(-9) M) increased percentage inhibition from 35 to 79%. The lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release into medium lipid peroxidation induced by algal toxin. addition, reduced cell viability for an incubation period 24 h especially two higher concentrations. These results indicate that (Al(3+), Hg(2+), Cd(2+)) concentration ranges largely below levels, synergistically increase low cultured
