摘要: Background Pulmonary vein (PV) isolation is an established treatment strategy for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). However, the recurrence rate of PAF 8% to 37%, despite repeated procedures, and catheter ablation with non-PV foci unclear. Objective The purpose this study was assess foci. Methods included 304 consecutive patients undergoing (209 males, age 63.0 ± 10.4 years) divided into 3 groups: group 1 (245 patients) no inducible foci; 2 (34 (AF) originating from all successfully ablated; (25 AF triggers, but without being ablated or persistently AF. Results Mean follow-up period 26.9 11.8 months, rates since last procedure were 9.8%, 8.8%, 68.0% in groups 1, 2, 3, respectively. There statistically significant difference between (P = .89); however, there differences Conclusion Success can be improved if are detected eliminated.
