摘要: The radiation of sound from an infinite elastic cylindrical shell excited by internal monopole source is investigated analytically. Coupled equations motion are used. modal mobility the wall at plane examined for differing locations and behavior explained in terms free wave propagation. radiated pressure line power surface then evaluated a similar range positions frequencies. A real flow, that circulates backwards forward between fluid while propagating axially, but does not contribute to far field, uncovered. Finally, transmission loss found be 10 35 dB lower than predicted existing simplified theories. losses coupled analysis presented here shown due excitation higher order “shell” type waves plane.
