摘要: Background & Aims: It is not clear how Helicobacter pylori, an apparently extracellular pathogen colonizing the luminal side of gastric epithelium, invariably causes immune-inflammatory response on stromal mucosa. Penetration H pylori into epithelial cell lines and its interaction with cells have been documented in vitro. Several investigations also showed vivo bacterial penetration epithelium up to lamina propria; however, identification as bacteria-like bodies observed unchanged, metaplastic, or neoplastic mucosa remained sometimes questionable. Methods: To search for organisms, we used transmission electron microscopy endoscopic biopsy specimens from 20 dyspeptic subjects surgical nonneoplastic cancerous stomachs. ascertain nature organisms found, 6 different antibodies directed against lysates, purified vacuolating cytotoxin A, cytotoxin-associated antigen A immunogold tests. The results were compared those strains cultivated Results: In nonmetaplastic cytochemically proven detected, majority cases, inside cytoplasm cells, intraepithelial intercellular spaces, underlying propria, often direct contact small blood vessels. Cytochemically 8 intestinal metaplasias 9 cancers. Conclusions: penetrates normal, vivo, intracellularly, interstitially cause a strong promote carcinogenesis.
