Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus Meningitis Associated with Spondylodiscitis and Psoas Abscess in an Immunocompetent Patient

摘要: Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) meningitis are rare. They mostly considered as a nosocomial complication of neurosurgical procedure or contiguous infection. In this paper we discuss the case an immunocompetent patient with methicillin-resistant associated bacteremia, spondylodiscitis lumbar spine and psoas abscess. The successfully followed antibiotic therapy associating Levofloxacin, Rifampin Vancomycin. This highlights importance early diagnosis proper treatment.
