摘要: Two main plutonic facies characterize the intrusive complex of Island Giglio, and trend their contact at depth has been modelled using a 2D½ analysis based on detailed geomagnetic survey in order to verify geological hypothesis subsurface geometry this contact. The magnetic anomaly connected with discontinuity is quite low, due small difference between susceptibilities two granitic facies. Development model inversion field, which good agreement interpretation, was made possible by: 1) accurate control time variations consequent temporal reduction, 2) very low level artificial noise, 3) high density survey, 4) knowledge mapped geologic petrologic characteristics, 5) direct local measurements key lithologies. shows trends contact, as projected three E-W sections, that dips eastward range 210 540, supporting Pietrabona represents an external shell shallowly emplaced Giglio monzogranite intrusion.
