摘要: Prostate cancer is one of the most prevalent non-skin related cancers. It second leading cause deaths among males in Western countries. If prostate diagnosed its early stages, there a higher probability that it will be completely cured. Prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) non-specific phosphomonoesterase synthesized epithelial cells and level proportionally increases with progression. PAP was biochemical diagnostic mainstay for until introduction prostate-specific antigen (PSA) which improved detection early-stage largely displaced PAP. Recently, however, renewed interest because usefulness prognosticating intermediate to high-risk cancers success immunotherapy cancer. Although believed key regulator cell growth, exact role normal as well detailed molecular mechanism regulation still unclear. Here, many different aspects are revisited emerging roles other environment discussed.
