摘要: A slot antenna with a notched band at 5.5 GHz is proposed for UWB applications. The basic comprises of rectangular radiating patch and ground plane tapered shape printed on 1.6 mm-thick FR4 dielectric substrate. To realise notch band, two symmetrical slits are etched the plane. Experimental results show that exhibits wideband performance from 3.08 to more than 11 frequency centred which can effectively mitigate interference between WLAN systems. It also confirmed measurements insertion does not affect performance, except band.
