摘要: Abstract Using a newly developed training paradigm, rats were trained to associate spatial location and black interior with mild footshock another adjacent white the absence of in three independent experiments. Retention these associations was measured 24 48 hr after situation which animals could move freely between locations over 90 sec test. Other subjected control procedure shock received on both sides apparatus. In each experiments, half experimental groups following administration calcium slow channel blocking agent, nimodipine (5 mg/kg), other saline administration. experiment 1, injections given 15 min before training. 2, chronically, 6 day period 3, single injection 7 days all cases, retention examined The results that procedures produce strong aversion portion greatest amount found had chronic injections, whether they or nimodipine. every aspect saline-treated less than perfect retention, exhibited superior performance.
