摘要: Ligand exchange chromatography is separation effected by the preferential mixed chelate complexation of analyte ligand with a metal ion and second introduced to chromatographic system. Chromatography thus performed highly selective for differentiation chelatable solutes. Stereoselective resolution isomeric ligands can be achieved if system optically active forms chiral complex in presence ion. The incorporated into one two general approaches: (a) initially immobilizing coordinating on stationary phase create specific solute sorbent interaction, (b) adding eluent effect an achiral phase, i.e. C18 bonded phase. enantiomeric amino acid pairs results when isomers differentially retained as ternary complexes ligand.
