摘要: Modern electric drive applications have presented a growing need for cost-effective solutions which are efficient, easy to maintain, and fault-tolerant. This paper presents the concept implementation details of modular permanent-magnet machine that is cheap manufacture assemble. topology allows flexibility in choice material stator rotor structures. Analysis this unconventional model has been carried out using 3D finite element analysis (FEA) benchmarked with an experimental prototype. The validated used explore optimization various geometrical, magnetic mechanical properties system order improve overall performance, while retaining ease assembly. field factor introduced, can be comparison topologies similar proposed. Simulation provided validate claims.
