摘要: We show the influence of two functional ions (Cu2+ and La3+ ), incorporated into a quaternary (Si, Ca, Na, P) sol-gel derived bioactive glass system, on its particle size, cytotoxicity, bioactivity. By doping parent with in singular or combined forms, 15 doped glasses were prepared by rapid technique. The size cell viability was successfully evaluated aid signal-to-noise-ratio (S/N), using Taguchi analysis. This allowed us to analyze complex interplay effects between these ions, marked differences biocompatibility three types studied. Cu addition had significant effect reducing while both increased density. Cell significantly improved for some combinations, demonstrating that Cu-La beneficial lymphoblasts, individual high-Cu low-La better fibroblasts, either doping, certain optimum osteoblasts. However, bioactivity samples generally similar glass, although La, particularly Cu, did appear dissolution when immersed SBF, act as modifiers, encourage HAp crystallization. results reveal potential synergistic benefits can be obtained combining mean density, glasses. greatly makes them promising candidates biomedical applications.
