Refinement in Aesthetic Contouring of the Prominent Mandibular Angle

摘要: Oriental women, in general, greatly desire a more delicate and feminine facial shape. This can be obtained by contouring the prominent mandibular angles that give strong, masculine image. Western authors regarded masseteric muscular hypertrophy main cause of square appearance, so they usually corrected it partially excising masseter muscle. In authors' view, appearance is not due to but posterior projection lateral flaring angle. However, sometimes difficult make face narrow ovoid using only conventional curved-angle osteotomy. We divided patients, whose chief complaint was into three groups after clinical, photographic, radiographic evaluation. applied different methods each cosmetically improved both frontal views.
