Universal binding-energy relation in chemisorption

摘要: We have discovered a universal relationship between chemisorbed-atom\char22{}metal-substrate interaction energies and separation distances. For variety of adatoms substrates, the adatom binding energy as function distance metal surface has been accurately determined by simple scaling relationship. also reveal an accurate, electron-number density distributions at jellium surfaces bulk electron density.
